the inspiration behind the movement

Every life carries a story—a journey filled with trials, redemption, and the beautiful grace of transformation. “The Like Butterflies Movement” was born from the testimony of two remarkable women, our mother, Carmen; and sister-in-law, Marta, who both soared into the embrace of God, leaving behind a legacy that inspires hearts to pursue His image.
There was a time when their faith was distant, their hearts wandering far from the path of God. The weight of life’s battles pressed upon them, pulling them away from His embrace. But God, in His endless mercy, never let them go.
For a time, they walked a path apart from Him, carrying burdens, doubts, and fears. In their final days, when the world saw only the end, heaven saw the beginning. They surrendered—fully, completely—falling into the arms of the Savior. They found salvation and in that surrender, something miraculous happened. They were transformed. The chains that once bound them were shattered, their souls ignited with a purpose greater than themselves. Their transformation was profound—their faith rekindled, their purpose fulfilled, their hearts set free. They fulfilled God’s calling, and through their testimony, others were drawn closer to God, hearts turned toward Christ. They are both testaments to the beauty of redemption and God’s unwavering love. Through their testimony, we witness His power to restore, heal, and renew.
Our mother always dreamed of being free—like a butterfly, released into the sky with nothing to hold her back, soaring effortlessly in the wind. And in those last moments, God granted her that freedom—not just in spirit, but in eternity. Carmen and Marta left behind more than memories; they inspired a movement, a beacon, “The Like Butterflies Movement”, calling all who are lost to return, to be changed, to reflect the image of Christ.
This is their legacy—a testimony that echoes through generations. And in every soul transformed, in every heart awakened, in every life set free, their story lives on.
We will always be thankful for what God did in their lives. Their journey reminds us that it is never too late to return to Christ, to be transformed, and to fulfill His purpose. Through “The Like Butterflies Movement”, we invite others to embrace that same transformation—to become living testimonies of His power, just as they were.
To God be all the glory, forever.
